~Here for your consideration is a wonderful, FIGURAL TOBACCO JAR, in the form of the head of a HANDSOME, SMILING, SAILOR, who is wearing a sailor’s cap impressed with “OLYMPIA,” the name of the ship he worked on. This charming, skillfully executed, majolica piece of early tobacciana, measures 6 1/2 inches in height, has numbers impressed into the bottom, has some wear to the paint on the cap, commensurate with it’s age and use and, in all other respects, this amazing tobacco jar is in good condition!~
