    Description

This is a vintage Art Deco metal cigar or tobacco humidor.
I would estimate it dates circa 1930s.
It measures 6 1/4 inches tall (15.9 cm). The lid is 5 inches wide in each direction and the base is 4 7/8 inches wide in each direction (12.7 cm, 12.4 cm).
I originally thought this was made of aluminum, but it is steel, as a magnet sticks to it.
I believe the interior is cedar wood. The interior of the lid is a thin piece of cork. I’m fairly certain you will have to change the material inside the round humidifier inside the lid.
There are scattered scratches and scuffs marks to the finish. This is very noticeable just below the tab on the lid in the front. There is also a small scratched up area in the back of the lid on the left side and some type of thin substance on the right side. When looking at the humidor from the front, the lid stays a little higher on the left side about 1/16 inch. You can push it down, but it pops up again. It is missing one of the four small pieces of velvet on the bottom.
I must say, I have never seen one quite like this before.
    It weighs 1 lb. 5 oz. (594 g).
