Lots of French charm !!! Genuine and attractive vintage 1950-60 school map as were used a long time ago in the French schools, published by M.D.I Editions (for la Maison De l'Instituteur)
This one is double-sided and depicts on one side a fully coloured map of France featuring the goods trade of the era, with funny drawings aimed to children, see particularly what images they had of the different tourists in France in 1960 (picture 2)
The other side represents the South-Western part of France and its economy with brightly coloured detailing about Bordeaux and its surrounding wine-producing terroirs, also the foie-gras, the truffes, the Armagnac and other typically French delicacies...
