    Description

    A beautiful golden yellow glass antique cigar jar with its original label from the 1890s or early 1900 era.....no embossing on the glass jar itself. Full colorful label reads PETER SCHUYLER OLD MOMENTS  G.W.VAN SLYKE & HORTON ODD MOMENTS with portrait of Peter Schuyler....early machine made....smooth wide mouth threaded collar with original tin lid....golden yellow color....8 sided....6 3/4"tall...Excellent shiny nice condition with only one small chip on top of lip; no other damage. A nice clean cigar jar with no haze. Label has some normal light wear, but is really nice. Peter Schuyler was a colonel in the Albany Militia and became the first mayor of Albany, New York and also was governor of the province of New York 3 times. He died in 1724....
