  • Condition: This has not been cleaned with the exception of the lid. I scrubbed the lid with a bit of oil to remove rust; some rust is still present. I was unable to remove the lid and I did not want to force it; there is a loss of tin on the lower portion of approx. 1".

    I am offering an ANTIQUE Amber
    Glass
    GLOBE TOBACCO JAR.  A portion of the original Uncle Tom Label remains, as well as a portion of the paper Tax Stamp, dated 1890.  It has a handled Tin Lid.
    It is 6 3/4" tall x 5" wide, and weighs 1 pound, 5 oz.
