    Description

1918 WALKING LIBERTY HALF PCGS MS 63 SANDY MATTE LIKE CHAMPAGNE TONED LUSTER. Very light in color, with some darker freckling within the tone. Pretty nice for a Teens Walker. Population figures are rather thin for this early date in Choice BU and better. Scarcity prevails, despite a relatively robust (for the time) mintage of 6,634,000. Apparently not saved in significant quantity, as Fifty Cents in 1918 could buy a whole lotta stuff. Probably should go in for a bath, Trueview, and a shiny new holder.
